EDDHA & EDTA Chelates

High-stability chelated micronutrients for agriculture — EDDHA-Fe 6% with o,o-4.8% isomer content for calcareous and alkaline soils, plus a full EDTA series (Fe / Zn / Mn / Cu / Ca / Mg).

The Problem

Iron deficiency in
high-pH soils

In calcareous and alkaline soils (pH > 7), iron applied as inorganic salts (e.g. ferrous sulfate) rapidly converts to insoluble forms that crops cannot absorb. Chlorosis in fruit trees, vines and horticultural crops is the visible symptom.
Chelation keeps iron and other micronutrients in solution and available to the plant. The strength of the chelate determines how well it holds at high pH:
Chelate type Stability range Best suited for
EDTA-Fe (13%) Stable up to ~pH 6.5 Acidic–neutral soils, foliar, hydroponics
EDDHA-Fe 6% (o,o 4.8%) Stable up to pH 9–11 Calcareous / alkaline soils, fruit trees
